The Los Angeles lead the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 21-7 after the first half of play. L.A. dominated the first quarter and the majority of the first half as they were leading 21-0 with still 13:41 to go before halftime.
This game functionally started out as an inverse to L.A.’s previous matchup with SF when SF led 14-0 before it seemed like the Rams even arrived on that Thursday night matchup.
In this game, the Rams showed up off the jump in all three phases, and they put pressure on the 49ers immediately.
Matthew Stafford threw two touchdowns (one of which was the 400th passing TD of his career) and Kyren Williams rushed for a score as well.
When L.A.’s defense forced a turnover on downs with under 10-minutes to go in quarter two, the Rams had a chance to blow this game even further open, but the 49ers responded by forcing a punt and keeping themselves in the contest.
The SF offense later rewarded their defense with their first points of the game to make the score 21-7 with about 3-minutes to go in the half, and the score would stay that way as the half came to its conclusion.
There’s plenty of football left to determine of these teams will walk away with the Week 10 victory.
