The Bears are 1-2 after playing three NFC possible contenders, Minnesota, Detroit and Dallas. They won 31-14 over the Cowboys at home on Sunday.
Ben Johnson sighting:
Last January, the Raiders tried to hire Johnson, the Lions’ hotshot offensive coordinator as head coach and there were reports it was close to happening. In the end, Johnson chose the Bears. The Raiders can send Johnson a message in this game.
First meeting with Williams:
A week after playing Washingt0n Commanders’ without second-year star quarterback Jayden Daniels, the Raiders will host Bears’ quarterback Caleb Williams, the only player drafted ahead of Daniels in 2024, for the first time.
Last meeting:
The Bears, playing backup quarterback Tyson Bagent, beat the Raiders 30-12 on Oct. 22, 2023 in Chicago.
