5-11, 170 pounds.
College:
Louisville (2020-21), Florida State (22-23), USC (24). He started six games for the Trojans last year.
How acquired:
The Raiders signed him after the draft as an undrafted free agent.
How he will fit in with Raiders:
Vance, who showed solid college tape in coverage, flashed when the Raiders put on pads in training camp, has flashed often. He has earned the praise of Las Vegas head coach Pete Carroll. Expect Vance to get a ample playing time in the Raiders’ three preseason games, which starts Thursday at the Seattle Seahawks. The Raiders have an open mind at cornerback and if he plays well, Vance has a chance to stick on the 53-man roster. If not, he would be a solid candidate to make the practice squad in Las Vegas.
