Tough end to season was a red flag
There is a chance the Las Vegas Raiders will add a veteran quarterback this offseason.
One of those choices may be Sam Darnold if the Minnesota Vikings allow him to reach free agency next month.
Darnold had a mostly excellent season in 2024 for Minnesota. But he struggled in the Vikings’ last two games of the season, two huge defeats.
We recently asked our community members if they would like to see the Raiders sign Darnold as a free agent or did his rough ending to the season make you worried about signing Darnold.
In the end, many fans think signing Darnold would be risky after the way he played at the end of the season. In a poll with 780 votes cast, 455 voters (58 percent) would rather the Raiders stay away from signing Darnold, while 325 voters (42) are still comfortable with the idea of putting Darnold in the Silver and Black.
I get the fans who are worried about signing Darnold. I think signing him comes with a lot of risks and concerns.
