Las Vegas Raiders players were going crazy watching Jon Gruden’s son, Deuce, go full “beast mode” at the IPF Powerlifting World Championships on television.

In addition to his role as a strength and conditioning assistant for the Las Vegas Raiders, Deuce is also a competitive powerlifter. He has won several gold medals at competitive powerlifting events, including a first-place finish at the 2017 International Powerlifting Federation’s World Classic Powerlifting Championships.

In a viral video posted on his X/Twitter account, Jon Gruden showed the support Deuce was getting from his Raiders players at the 2025 IPF Powerlifting World Championships. Deuce finished third in the bench press competition, Jon added:

My son Deuce just got 3rd place at the IPF World Championship for bench press and his fellow Raiders were cheering him on from Vegas!

Let’s go Deuce!! pic.twitter.com/NtLCIOR7LK

What can we say? Raiders players are in good hands, knowing they have a world-class power lifter to help with their strength and conditioning.

Jon Gruden and his wife, Cindy, have two other sons, Michael and Jayson. The latter is a personal trainer and boxing coach who competes in Muay Thai fighting and kickboxing.

The 61-year-old Gruden was hired by Barstool Sports in November after launching his own YouTube show on football. Earlier this month, Gruden became part-owner of the Nashville Kats, a franchise in Arena Football One League.

Jon Gruden Resigned As Raiders’ HC In 2021

After nine seasons in the ‘Monday Night Football’ broadcast booth, the Super Bowl 37-winning head coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers returned to the Raiders on a 10-year, $100 million contract.

Gruden’s second tenure with the Raiders lasted less than four seasons, however. In the middle of the 2021 season, he resigned after old emails were leaked of him using homophobic, racist and misogynistic language.

Interim head coach Rich Bisaccia led the Raiders to a surprise playoff appearance that year, just their second since 2004. In move that backfired tremendously, however, owner Mark Davis let Bisaccia go and hired Josh McDaniels for the HC role.
