Fans don’t think a Raiders’ trade would be worth it, but in the end He was a steal
On board with a Joe Milton trade to the Las Vegas Raiders?
Not in this economy, apparently.
We recently asked our community members if they would be approve of the Raiders trading for New England Patriots that their reported asking price of a third-round pick.
The Raiders, of course, have answered their immediate need for a starting quarterback in the near future with their trade for veteran Geno Smith. Despite the Smith acquisition the Raiders are still in search of a young quarterback and there has been some media speculation Milton could interest the Silver and Black.
But our readers don’t seem interested at that price tag for the Tennessee product who was a sixth-round pick last year.
In a poll with 911 votes cast, 650 voters (71 percent) are not in favor of Las Vegas pursuing Milton, while 261 voters (29 percent) are in favor of it.
If get sentiment on this price tag. The big-armed Milton looked good in Week 18 and eh ahs ability, but that’s a high price tag and there i no rush to do anything risky with Smith on board.
However, in the end, the Patriots’ price wasn’t that bad at all. They sent Milton and a seventh-round pick to the Dallas Cowboys for a late fifth rounder. That’s not bad at all. In fact, what a steal for Dallas. And, yes, the Raiders were reportedly interested in Milton.
