We’re into the fifth month of the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2025 offseason after a 2024 season which didn’t go as hoped and the team is looking toward the future with the NFL draft complete and the second phase of free agency still happening. We’re collecting all the news, injury reports, signings, rumors, and everything you need to follow the Raiders and the NFL in the month of April.

We’ll update everything below in reverse chronological order:

May 19

1:53 p.m.: The Bills signed wide receiver Kristian Wilkinson. The Raiders cut him last week.

1:36 p.m.: Raiders’ rookie running back Ashton Jeanty explained how Chip Kelly got him to change his stance for the NFL. Jeanty said perhaps he will change back to his own style at some point if allowed.


May 15

9:15 a.m.: Raiders Hall of Famer Charles Woodson is planning to purchase a very small percentage of the Cleveland Browns.


May 14

3:09 p.m.: The Bills worked out receiver Kristian Wilkerson, who was cut by the Raiders on Monday.


May 13

2:29 p.m.: The Tennessee Titans claimed linebacker Amari Burney off of waivers. The Raiders waived the 2023 sixth-round pick Monday.

2:25 p.m.: The Miami Dolphins claimed defensive tackle Matthew Butler off of waivers. Las Vegas waived the 2022 fifth-round pick on Monday.

1:21 p.m.: Linebacker Kana’i Mauga, recently cut by the Raiders, has signed with AFC West rival, the Chargers.

11:10 a.m.: Rasul Douglas, one of the top free agents on the market, is visiting the Seahawks.

6:32 a.m.: Several International games have been announced. The Raiders aren’t involved.

5:45 a.m.: Free-agent cornerback Asante Samuel, who has been connected to the Raiders, will wait until after a medical check-up in July to sign with a team.


May 12

4:04 p.m.: No Black Friday game or Christmas in Kansas City game for the Raiders.

2:08 p.m.: More schedule reveals:

1:49 p.m.: The Broncos signed former Raiders’ tight end Cole Fotheringham.

1:16 p.m.: Raiders’ star tight end Brock Bowers is with the team for offseason work outs after graduating from Georgia late last week.

6:38 a.m.: The Raiders will not open the NFL season at the Eagles.


May 11

7:58 a.m.: Former Raiders’ executive Shaun Herock has landed in Cleveland.

7:40 a.m.: It will reportedly be an AFC West battle between the Chiefs and Chargers in Brazil in Week 1.


May 9

5:14 p.m.: Jaylon Smith, who had a brief stint with the Raiders in 2023, is getting another shot in Las Vegas. The linebacker is participating in the team’s rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

3:01 p.m.: Congratulations on Raiders’ star tight end Brock Bowers on his college graduation at Georgia.

2:57 p.m.: The Raiders have waived receiver Jeff Foreman. He was injured last year.


May 8

2:45 p.m.: : Quarterback Desmond Ridder, who finished last season with the Raiders, is now no longer trying out for the Broncos.
