We’re into the first month of the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2025 offseason after a 2024 season which didn’t go as hoped and the team is looking toward the future. We’re collecting all the news, injury reports, signings, rumors, and everything you need to follow the Raiders and the NFL in the month of January.

We’ll update everything below in reverse chronological order:

January 26

11:17 a.m.: Former Raiders general manager Dave Ziegler is set to become the Titans’ assistant GM. Ziegler served as a personnel assistant with the Saints last season. Tennessee is ushering in a new front office after hiring Mike Borgonzi from the Chiefs earlier this offseason.

January 24

12:07p.m.: Former Raiders running back Calvin Jones has died. Our condolences go out to his family.


January 23

1:41 p.m.: The Raiders have re-signed wide receiver Alex Bachman to a future contract.

12:48 p.m.: Despite John Spytek’s hiring not being official yet, the Raiders’ personnel department is heading to college All-Star games to begin the NFL Draft prep. Assistant general manager Champ Kelly is likely leading the charge.

7:19 a.m.: As expected, Raiders’ star defensive end Maxx Crosby has been replaced at the Pro Bowl because he is recovering from surgery. Rookie tight end Brock Bowers will represent the Raiders, though.


January 22

6:18 a.m.: Former Raiders’ star defensive end Khalil Mack is returning for the 2025 season. The Chargers’ standout is set to be a free agent.


January 21

2:13 p.m.: Former Raiders’ head coach Josh McDaniels is a candidate to be the offensive coordinator with the New England Patriots. He twice held that job before being the Riders coach. McDaniels hasn’t had a job since the Raiders fired him in October, 2023.


January 20

2:52 p.m.: Former Raiders’ defensive coordinator Patrick Graham is getting a second interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

10:57 a.m.: Raiders’ rookie tight end Brock Bowers was named to the Pro Football Writer’s All-Pro team.


January 18

10:09 a.m.: Rob Ryan, who was on the Raiders’ coaching staff for the past three seasons, has landed at USC.


January 16

2:29 p.m.: Raiders’ assistant special teams coach Kade Rannings will coach at the East-West Shrine game. It is unknown if Rannings will be kept on the new Las Vegas coaching staff.


January 15

6:13 a.m.: The Indianapolis Colts are hosting a game in 2025 in Berlin. The Raiders play at the Colts this season, so this is a possibility.


January 13

1:47 p.m.: The Raiders signed another player to a future contract.


January 11

6:10 p.m.: Patrick Graham interviewed for the Jaguars’ head coach vacancy. Graham was considered a head coach candidate last offseason and it was recently reported that he turned down a contract extension with the Raiders.


January 8

4:21 p.m.: The Raiders are offering their support for all of those affected in the Los Angeles wildfires.
