There isn’t a lot of good news and vibes surrounding the Las Vegas Raiders as they sit at 2-5 entering their bye week.

But Monday, head coach Pete Carroll said good news may be on the way. He is hopeful some key players will be ready to return from injury when the Raiders host the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 on November 2.

Carroll said tight end Brock Bowers (knee), wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (knee/toe) and pass-rusher Maxx Crosby (knee/back) should be ready next week. Bowers missed the past three games, Meyers missed the 31-0 loss at Kansas City on Sunday and Crosby sat out the second half of that game.

Defensive tackle Adam Butler hurt his back in pre-game warm ups Sunday and safety Isaiah Pola-Mao hurt his ankle late in the game. It is unknown when they will return.

Carroll also said he is hopeful safety Lonnie Johnson (leg) and quarterback Aidan O’Connell (hand) should be ready to return next week. They’ve both been out since August. Johnson will likely be a special teamer and it is unknown if O’Connell will be kept on the roster as a No. 3 behind Geno Smith and Kenny Pickett.

Standout left tackle Kolton Miller will have to miss, at least, another game on the injured reserve with an ankle injury. But he may be on the IR longer.
