Many Las Vegas fans would be fine with signing Pittsburgh running back

Many Las Vegas Raiders fans believe Maxx Crosby is onto something.

Recently, on his podcast, “The Rush,” Crosby, the Raiders’ star defensive end, said he’d be happy to see the team sign Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris in free agency.

So, as we often do, we took to our community members to see how they feel about the idea. And, most of the fans who participated in our poll, agree with Crosby.

In our poll, which 762 votes were cast, 483 voters (62 percent) said, yes, they’d welcome a Harris signing in Las Vegas, while 299 voters (38 percent) indicated that they don’t think the former first-round pick would be a difference maker for the running back-needy Las Vegas offense. The Raiders are projected to have among the most salary-cap room (more than $90 million) and a lot of holes to fill. One of the areas Las Vegas will need to address this offseason is at running back.

With other draft needs and a lackluster free agency class at the position, the Raiders could do worse than adding Harris this offseason.

He is a workhorse who had 1,043 rushing yards in 2024. He has been a 1,000-yard rusher all four of his NFL seasons since being a first-round pick out of Alabama. He had 36 catches in 2024.

So, it’s understandable to see why Crosby and many of our readers would welcome Harris to the Raiders’ 2025 roster.
