It hasn’t been the greatest start to the Pete Carroll era for the Las Vegas Raiders.

They are 1-2 under the 74-year-old Super Bowl-winning coach and and have lost the last two games both by double digits. They will try to bounce back at home Sunday against the 1-2 Chicago Bears.

The Bears, of course, are coached by Ben Johnson. Yes, that Ben Johnson. He was at the top of the Raiders’ wish list n January when they were looking to replace the fired Antonio Pierce. Johnson, then the Detroit Lions’ offensive coordinator, was considered the coaching prize of the 2025 coaching hiring cycle.

In the end, he went to Chicago to coach young quarterback Caleb Williams.

With this matchup almost here, we asked out community members if they would rather have Carroll or Johnson as the Raiders’ coach?

Despite the slow start by the Raiders, fans are sticking with Carroll. About 60 percent of our voters would rather have Carroll. He can reward that support with a much-needed victory Sunday.
