Here is a look at the Las Vegas Raiders 2024 rookie class fared Sunday in a 41-24 loss at the Washington Commanders and what it means heading into Sunday’s home game against the Chicago Bears:
Brock Bowers:
Bowers played a season-high 83 percent of the snaps. He had four catches for 38 yards on five targets. He’s been targeted 21 times this season. He has 14 catches for 179 yards. Last season, through three games, he also had 21 targets. He had 18 catches for 197 yards. New offensive coordinator needs to keep on feeding Bowers as much as possible.
Jackson Powers-Johnson:
The second-round pick was the backup right guard to Alexa Cappa after missing Week 2 with a concussion. The Oregon product has been up and down. he needs to get back on track ASAP.
D.J. Glaze:
The third-round pick had a rough go of it at Washington. He was a big part of the problem up front and allowed two sacks. He’s been extremely inconsistent at right tackle.
Decamarion Richardson:
The fourth-round pick was inactive with a hamstring injury he suffered last week in practice. It is not known how long the special teamer will remain out.
Tommy Eichenberg:
The fifth-round pick from Ohio State played no snaps at linebacker for the second straight game after playing 14 snaps in Week 1 due to injury. Eichenberg played a season-high 93 percent of the snaps on special teams in Week 3.
Dylan Laube:
The sixth-round pick was the No. 3 running back and played seven snaps on offense after playing 12 snaps in Week 2 He had no offensive touches but was targeted on one pass play. He had three kicks returns for 60 yards.
Jonah Laulu:
Laulu, claimed last year off waivers from Indianapolis, played season-high 62 percent of the defensive snaps and he played 11 snaps on special teams. He’s having a nice season.
