The Philadelphia Eagles made one of their boldest moves in recent history last offseason.

Signing free agent running back Saquon Barkley away from the New York Giants was a bit of a gamble, but it paid off in a big way.

Now, after he took the league by storm and won the Super Bowl in his first year with Philadelphia, fans are about to get an in-depth look at his life.

Prime Video will air a documentary about his career, journey and transition from the Giants to the Eagles.

The Giants’ decision to let Barkley go would’ve cost most people their jobs.

General manager Joe Schoen chose to spend on quarterback Daniel Jones over Barkley, lowballing him throughout the negotiating process and essentially letting him know that he was expendable.

Barkley responded by rushing for 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns on his way to winning Offensive Player of the Year.

Jones, on the other hand, didn’t even finish the 2024 season with the Giants.

Hopefully, the documentary will shed more light on the negotiations and the days leading up to Barkley’s decision to join an NFC East rival.

Fans may never forgive him for jumping ship and playing for a heated rival, but in his defense, he repeatedly talked about his desire to stay with the Giants for life.
