The end of the 2025 NFL Preseason is this weekend, with every team having one last chance to tune up for the regular season. The Miami Dolphins finally open Hard Rock Stadium for this season, returning home after two away games to start the exhibition season, to host the Jacksonville Jaguars. The intra-state rivalry gives each team one last chance to see roster bubble players perform in game situations. Will someone standout?
Miami started their preseason at the Chicago Bears, coming away with a 24-24 tie. They then stayed on the road throughout the week before beating the Detroit Lions 24-17. Miami held one joint practice with the Bears and two practices with the Lions over that time.
The Jaguars have gone 0-1-1 so far this preseason. They opened with a 31-25 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in their opener in Jacksonville. Over the second weekend, they hit the road and came away with a tie with the New Orleans Saints, 17-17.
Miami and Jacksonville practiced together on Thursday, closing out training camp for both teams.
