New England Patriots - NESN.com
The New England Patriots got to enjoy the weekend off after they took down the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football by a score of 27-14. With that win, the Pats earned their eighth-straight victory, pushing their record to 9-2 on the season.
Every time the Patriots go out and take care of business, they find a way to convince more and more of their detractors that they are the real deal. As we begin to reach the homestretch of the 2025 campaign, New England has a real shot at earning the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
Even when the Pats aren’t playing, they are finding a way to make an impression on people. Just ask Kevin Wildes of “First Things First,” as he issued a bold claim regarding New England when watching the rest of the action across the league unfold during Week 11.
“I haven’t seen a team play today that looks better than the Patriots,” Wildes said in a post on X Sunday afternoon.
Much has been made about the Patriots’ schedule this season, but it’s been tough to find another team that has gone out and played football at the sort of consistently high level we have seen from them this year. Winning is tough in the NFL, regardless of who your opponent is, which makes N.E.’s ongoing win streak even more impressive.
The outside noise isn’t much of a concern for the Pats, though, and they will look to continue winning when they return to action in Week 12 for a matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Kickoff for this game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon.
