The New England Patriots are gearing up for their Week 9 contest against the Atlanta Falcons, but some folks are already keeping tabs on the team’s Week 10 matchup, which will see them face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It’s important to never look too far ahead in the NFL, as any team can win on any given Sunday. However, given how light the Patriots’ schedule has been as of late, playing the Buccaneers, who are leading the pack in the NFC South, will give New England a shot to see where it stacks up against a top competitor.

With both the Pats and the Bucs enjoying strong seasons, some folks wondered if this game could get flexed to either Sunday Night Football or Monday Night Football. Instead, it will remain at its scheduled 1 p.m. ET time, and according to Tracy Wolfson of CBS, the network’s top broadcast team will be on the call for this game.

“It’s official next week Jim (Nantz), Tony Romo and I will get our first look at Drake Maye and the Patriots as they head to TB to take on the Buccaneers!” Wolfson shared in a post on X.

The top broadcast teams for each network are usually reserved for the most exciting games of the week, so it isn’t a surprise to see that Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will be on the call for this game. This will be the first time since Oct. 15, 2023, that the Patriots have had Nantz and Romo working their game.

First things first, though, New England needs to get past a tough Atlanta squad in Week 9. Kickoff for this game is also scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, with the Pats looking to extend their ongoing win streak to six games.
