Dallas Cowboys cheerleader KayDianna MacKenzie is moving on to the next phase of her life.
The beloved member of the Cowboys cheerleading squad has decided to part ways with the team.
Taking to Instagram, KayDianna “KayD” Mackenzie, a four-year veteran of the Cowboys Cheerleaders, announced that she will be stepping away from the team.
She gave a lengthy farewell message.
“After prayerful consideration, I have made the decision to step away from my role with the Dallas Cowboys organization. While this was not the ending I had envisioned, it is the one I felt led to make for myself, in full faith and peace,” KayDianna MacKenzie said in part.
“I’m deeply grateful for four unforgettable seasons – filled with growth, meaningful friendships, and memories that will stay with me forever.
“Though this door has closed, I trust fully in God’s plan and the new doors he is preparing to open. I do not view this as a setback, but as a divine setup for what’s next. He is not finished with me yet, and I am stepping forward with expectation and joy for all he has in store.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. I look forward to sharing the next one with you.”
The now former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader hasn’t stated what her next move is just yet. She is sure to keep the thousands of fans that she has on social media in the loop with what is going on in her life.
“Proud of you and the plans God has for you!💙💙💙,” one former teammate said.
“I watched your rookie season on Making The Team, and you were my favorite. I’ve loved watching your DCC journey,” a second fan said of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
“KD, don’t make me cry!!!! But seriously, you have made me feel so welcomed into the Cowboys community, and I really do appreciate you. God’s plan is the way you shall go, and whatever you end up doing, you will thrive in! 💙!!” an emotional fan page added.
“Proud of you!!! Forever blessed that our paths have crossed!!!!” a friend said to KayDianna MacKenzie.
“So proud of you and proud to call you a friend! You have a village that will always support you and a God who loves you unconditionally!!” one final friend added.
