There were some pivotal moments which sent the Jets on the road to failure.
Aaron Rodgers’ two year tenure with the Jets appears to be ending. Recent reporting by Jay Glazer of Fox Sports suggests the Jets are set to move on from the future Hall of Fame quarterback. This was always the most likely scenario by far. Things simply didn’t work out in the two years he was in New York.
Why didn’t things work out? That is a question with a complex set of answers. There is no simple way to describe the causes of the disappointment and failures of 2023.
But there were some pivotal moments that set the Jets on the course to failure. Some of them were not the team’s fault, such as Rodgers’ freak injury on the first offensive series of 2023. Others were. On today’s podcast we look back at three fateful reasons things did not pan out.
