Let’s be honest. This has been a difficult stretch to be a Jets fan. The team owns the longest Playoff drought in the league at 14 years. The next longest Playoff drought is half that. The Jets are also coming off perhaps the most disappointing season in franchise history. You could make a strong case it was one of the most disappointing seasons ever in the league. A team that was talking Super Bowl in preseason went 5-12 with a high water mark of 2-1 after three games. Many of the key people are gone, and the franchise finds itself in transition mode once again.
How could anybody feel good about where this team is?
