The Jets have announced they are moving on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Where does this leave the team? On today’s podcast we discuss some of the options in front of the team.
A lot of the early discussion has centered on the possibility of Tyrod Taylor taking on the starting role. In one sense this seems logical. Taylor is already on the team and has a long history of playing in the NFL. Perhaps stepping up from the backup role into a starting one could be an option.
I don’t think it’s a particularly attractive option, though.
To be honest, the Jets don’t have any great choices. When I say that, I include Rodgers himself, who showed steep signs of decline through the 2024 season. Ultimately the team should be looking at calculated high upside plays which I discuss on today’s episode.
Thanks for tuning in.
