The Pittsburgh Steelers enjoyed their biggest margin of victory yet in their 34-12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. While the win advanced the Steelers to 6-4, which keeps them in first place of the AFC North.

Yet, the win also came at a cost, with starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffering a fractured wrist in the process. Though, the four-time NFL MVP will try to tough it out for Sunday’s Steelers matchup against the Rodgers-owned Bears, there’s no guarantee he’ll even be available, let alone for a full game.

Perhaps that’s why the Steelers worked out two other quarterbacks on Tuesday. Specifically, the Steelers put Jason Bean and Tanner Mordecai through a workout. Though, neither one was signed.

It’s possible the Steelers are just updating their emergency QB list in case Rodgers can’t go on Sunday. If he can’t, the Steelers will be forced to turn to Mason Rudolph or Will Howard.

There isn’t a quarterback on the Steelers’ practice squad, but if Bean or Mordecai fared well, Pittsburgh could make a change in the next few days. Mordecai, 26, was an undrafted free agent last year. Bean, 26, was also an undrafted free agent from the class of 2024. Neither has ever thrown an NFL pass.
