Pittsburgh Steelers rookie defensive end Yahya Black can expect a fine after giving the Detroit Lions an NSFW gesture.

After tacking Lions star running back David Montgomery for a loss in the second quarter of Sunday’s game at Ford Field, a fired-up Yahya Black decided to send a message to the home team.

That is, a message that will surely result in a fine from the league office:

In August, the NFL announced that it would be placing more emphasis on sportsmanship and eliminating “inappropriate gestures.” This included the throat slash, sexual and “violent” gestures. They also warned players to stop with the “nose wipe” celebration.

Ultimately, it would be a surprise if Yahya Black wasn’t hit with a fine from the league. Los Angeles Chargers safety Tony Jefferson was fined $7,111 for flipping off Kansas City Chiefs fans last week.

The Steelers drafted Black in the fifth round (164th overall) in April. Coming into Sunday’s game, he had 23 tackles and two forced fumbles.
