Washington hits the field for the first day of training camp
The Washington Commanders are back in Ashburn for the first day of training camp practices. General manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn spoke to the media yesterday, and Quinn was back answering questions before the start of practice. The big news of the week was WR Terry McLaurin not reporting to training camp as he continues to seek a new contract.
New signing Von Miller made his debut with the Commanders and was working opposite Frankie Luvu at EDGE with Daron Payne and Dorrance Armstrong on the inside. Laremy Tunsil and Deebo Samuel were added via trade this offseason, and Samuel already had the play of camp catching an over the shoulder touchdown on Jayden Daniels first throw.
