Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has certainly been putting in the work at the gym ahead of a pivotal make-or-break 2025 season.
The No. 4 pick of the 2023 NFL Draft flashed immense potential during his rookie year, but a string of injuries unfortunately limited him to four games. The Colts got an extended look at Richardson in 2024, but he completed just 47.7 percent of pass attempts for eight touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 11 starts, missing time to injury and being benched in favor of veteran Joe Flacco.
Only time will tell how Anthony Richardson fares in what is likely his final opportunity with the Colts. But to his credit, Richardson has worked tirelessly to get himself in premium shape ahead of year three, as you can see in the X/Twitter posts below:

Say what you want about Richardsonās underwhelming NFL career up to this point, but credit him for working extensively to improve in year three. Other former highly-touted QBs like Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell and Johnny Manziel were known for not exactly putting in the homework early in their careers, after all.
The Colts signed former New York Giants starter Daniel Jones and used a sixth-round pick (No. 189 overall) on Notre Dame product Riley Leonard to back up Anthony Richardson. Itās now up to the 22-year-old to keep his grip on the QB1 duties.
Richardson and the Colts will kick off their 2025 season with a home clash against Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 7 (1:00 p.m. EST).
Incredibly, the Colts havenāt won a Week 1 game since the 2013 season, when the Andrew Luck-led squad avoided an upset at the hands of the Oakland Raiders. They did, however, tie the Houston Texans 20-20 in the 2022 opener, so that counts for something.
