On Wednesday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced their latest group of former NFL players who have been confirmed to move on in their voting process for next year’s class. This year, there are four former Bolts still in the running to be a member of the Class of 2026.

For the first time, former Chargers quarterbacks Philip Rivers and Drew Brees are up for nomination. They join former fullback Lorenzo Neal and safety Rodney Harrison, both of whom have been up for the Hall of Fame a number of years at this point.

Other first-ballot nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame include wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, tight ends Greg Olson and Jason Witten, running backs Frank Gore and LeSean McCoy, and offensive guard Maurkice Pouncey.

Quarterback Eli Manning, technically a one-time Chargers draft pick, is also up for the Class of 2026 after being a first-time nominee in 2025.
