Playoff football in the snow is one of the iconic themes of NFL history. For decades, majestic games played in tough conditions have brought in huge television ratings and stood the test of time.
But, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown is in no way a fan of those games. Instead, he would rather never do it again.
The Eagles won on Sunday, 28-22, in an absolute classic over the Los Angeles Rams that featured a memorable Saquon Barkley touchdown run in the snow.

Scenes like that will live forever in NFL lore. But, AJ Brown had a slow day. he had just 2 catches for 14 yards on 7 targets as the Philadelphia passing game never really got going. But, they ran for 285 yards as a team, so they didn’t need to move it much through the air.
I’m sure plenty of Eagles players will remember the win as one of the favorites of their entire football career. That’s not the case for AJ Brown. Here’s Pro Football Talk with more.
“You see it? I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy,” Brown said postgame. “That was not fun. That wasn’t fun at all. Tough game, tough conditions, but made the most of it. Tried to get the win, glad we did.”
It makes sense that AJ Brown hates the snowy weather. He’s from Starkville, Mississippi and went to Ole Miss. If you don’t grow up playing in the cold and snow, it’s hard to get used to.
There’s a chance that Sunday’s NFC Championship Game back at Lincoln Financial Field also sees some snowfall. AJ Brown better get used to it quickly!
