At the start of the 2025 NFL season, many wondered just how good of a Black Friday matchup fans would get with the Chicago Bears on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles. It turns out, a pretty darned good one is on tap this afternoon!
Both 8-3, and leading their divisions, this afternoon’s game pits two playoff-minded teams against one another in the City of Brotherly Love. If the season ended today, the Eagles would be the NFC’s two seed, while the Bears would enter the postseason as the three seed. There’s a lot at stake today for both teams.
Chicago is riding high with first-year head coach Ben Johnson, while Philly keeps waiting for thing to click — yet somehow keep winning. Can the Bears knock of the defending Super Bowl Champions? When’s the last time you recall Chicago being in a meaningful game this late in a season… maybe all the way back to former head coach Dick Jauron?
