The Philadelphia Eagles had a field day trolling the rest of the NFL after the latest attempt to have the “tush push” ban failed miserably.
The Green Bay Packers proposed banning the Eagles’ signature tush push play, which required 24 votes to pass. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the final proposal was 22-10, coincidentally the score of Philly’s Wild Card Round victory over the Packers.
After news broke of the final votes, the Eagles trolled the league on X/Twitter with a photo of quarterback Jalen Hurts running the play against the Packers. The X post brilliantly featured a two-word message reading, “Push On.”

That wasn’t all, though. The Eagles proceeded to post a 26-minute YouTube video of their successful tush push attempts:

Hey, the play has been practically unstoppable since the Eagles started running it frequently in the 2022 season. It’ll never be easy to stop, so the teams (ahem, Green Bay) that oppose the tush push may as well work on practicing the play themselves.
As the old saying goes, “If you can’t beat them, join them.”
Hurts has racked up 42 rushing touchdowns since the 2022 season, and 10 in the playoffs during that span. This included the game-opening touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in Philly’s Super Bowl 59 blowout victory.
The Eagles are bringing back most of the core from last season: Hurts, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley, Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Nolan Smith, Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis.
With the tush push ban failing to pass, the Eagles’ chances of repeating won’t wane in the slightest. Hurts will keep being virtually automatic on 4th-and-inches situations and running plays from inside the one-yard line, so good luck to opposing teams on making the stops.
