Pro Football Focus has been known over the past 20 years as the premier data-based football website avaialble.
Some people give it more credence than others, but there player grading system is paid attention to be many. They recently released their All-time PFF team during its existence and there are several former Raiders’ players who were honored.
They were:
WR: First team, Antonio Brown. I know, I know, but he was a Raider on paper; second team, Davante Adams.
Edge: First team, Khalil Mack.
CB: Second team, Casey Hayward
Slot: Second team, Charles Woodson.
Oh, and Raiders’ minority owner Tom Brady was the first team quarterback.
Again, we all have our thoughts on PFF’s formula, but there clearly are some former Raiders who played the game the way PFF likes it.
