Silver And Black Pride
The Las Vegas Raiders are 2-14 heading into Week 18 and in line for the number one pick. It has been a disastrous season for a team that expected to compete in year one with Pete Carroll. Instead, it has been an ugly result after a nasty result, week to week.
This has led to speculation that it could be a one-and-done season for the former Super Bowl-winning head coach. There have been rumors of the Raiders already searching for a new head coach before the year ended. On Saturday, the reports started coming in that it is most likely that Carroll will either retire or be let go, but either way will be done with the Silver and Black after one season.
What this means is the Raiders will have fired their third head coach in three seasons. However, with the team possibly holding the top pick in the draft, it could lead to them landing a new head coach with significant upside. Black Monday will be eventful for Raider Nation.
