One of the announcers calling the Ravens-Packers game on Saturday night dropped some provocative language during the broadcast.

With the Ravens fighting for a playoff spot and the Packers having already clinched one, the visitors depended heavily on Derrick Henry. The running back delivered, scoring three touchdowns in the first half.

Defensive end Kingsley Enagbare eventually got the better of him in the third quarter. The DE broke through on the end for a stuff, in a move described as “major penetration.”

Such phrases are hard to avoid when calling football games. You’re hardly afforded time to think.

As for the Peacock crew, Noah Eagle was the play-by-play announcer on the night, with Todd Blackledge doing analysis. Kathryn Tappen was on the sideline.

Henry would score a fourth touchdown late in the fourth quarter to give the Ravens a 41-24 lead with just under two minutes to go, handing the NFC North to the Chicago Bears.

As noted above, the Packers are already in the playoffs, but there were obvious seeding concerns. They also lost a player to a gruesome injury.
