Philadelphia Eagles fans celebrated after watching their team pick up a 55-23 win in the NFC Championship game. That victory secured the squad’s spot in the Super Bowl where they’ll face off against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Scenes on Broad Street were electric as folks gathered to keep the party going. Paul George of the 76ers got to see the celebration up close and personal.
Videos of the guard attempting to navigate his way through the crowds of people surfaced on social media Sunday night. Hopefully, he wasn’t in a hurry to get somewhere!

The celebrations are nothing new to the city. Just last year, a similar scene unfolded in the area after an NFC Championship win over the 49ers. The year prior, fans were seen scaling light poles after the Phillies booked a ticket to the World Series.
Paul George must not have been aware of what was to come. We’ll give him some grace as it’s his first season in the City of Brotherly Love.

Unfortunately, in many of these large gatherings, things can turn scary in an instant. That wound up being the case in Philly on Sunday night.

The Philadelphia Police posted about a car driving into a crowd of people on Broad Street during the celebration. The message on X went out just before 10 PM ET. Three bystanders were reportedly injured.
The department informed its following that the driver was in custody. It also said that the incident didn’t appear intentional.
There was also video of a fan firing three rounds into the air amid a crowd of people. Luckily, it doesn’t seem anyone was harmed in that situation, though the Philly Police are investigating.
