Pats Pulpit Reacts: Who will win the AFC East?

Four weeks into the 2025 regular season, it looked like the Buffalo Bills were on cruise control toward a sixth straight AFC East title. They were sitting at 4-0 and looked like the most complete team in football, all while the rest of their division was still figuring out how to play competitive football.

In fairness, two of those three teams still haven’t. The fourth, however, seems to be posing a threat to Buffalo’s AFC East supremacy: the New England Patriots beat them in Week 5 to end their perfect season, and then went on to take the division lead the following week.

With the Bills losing in Atlanta and the Patriots winning in New Orleans in Week 6, the latter moved ahead in the standings thanks to the head-to-head tiebreaker. For the first time in four years, New England now sits atop its division and appears to be in a realistic position to challenge for the division crown it won on a near-annual basis between 2001 and 2019.

Will it happen, though? That is one of our questions in this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey. As always, please make sure to participate and to hit the comment section below to talk about your answer and more.
