The New England Patriots’ Week 2 injury report on Wednesday was concerning, listing starters Christian Gonzalez (hamstring), Harold Landry (foot), Keion White (illness) and Morgan Moses (foot) as non-participants.

Christopher Price of The Boston Globe reported on Thursday afternoon that two members of the quartet had returned to action.

“Christian Gonzalez (hamstring) and Keion White (illness) not spotted at the start of practice. Morgan Moses and Harold Landry are back,” Price wrote on Bluesky.

Patriots fans will have to wait to see if Landry and Moses were limited in their return, but Thursday’s initial report bodes well for their chances at playing against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Gonzalez’s and White’s statuses, meanwhile, leave them just two days to make a comeback before the road contest.

It was speculated that Gonzalez could be on the mend after New England waived fellow cornerback D.J. James on Tuesday, but there’s been no indication that the star defender is close to making his season debut.

Landry was arguably the team’s biggest star in their Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, recording 2.5 sacks. Moses played all 71 offensive snaps against the Raiders and White finished the contest with two tackles.

The Dolphins are dealing with injuries of their own, as right guard James Daniels has been placed on injured reserve with a pectoral issue and cornerback Storm Duck hasn’t practiced this week due to an ankle ailment.
