A three-game road trip will come to an end for the New England Patriots on Sunday, as Mike Vrabel gets set to return to Tennessee in search of his team’s fourth straight victory.
Winning on the road in three consecutive weeks is no easy task, as the Patriots have done it just twice (1961, 1985) in franchise history in 24 previous instances. But, a Titans team that just fired Vrabel’s successor, Brian Callahan, earlier this week has struggled offensively this season with No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward at the helm.

The Patriots won the toss and deferred, putting their defense on the field to start things Sunday. Two straight completions by Cam Ward totaled 31 yards to get the Titans offense on the move out of the gate. Then facing a third-and-7 following a pair of runs, Ward’s pass was behind his intended receiver leading to a 49-yard field goal. [Patriots 0 : 3 Titans]
