As the New England Patriots returned to the practice fields, so did Keion White.
The defensive end made his way back on Thursday after sitting out four consecutive sessions and last weekend’s game due to an illness. He was listed as a full participant alongside defensive tackle Christian Barmore as the Pittsburgh Steelers matchup nears.
Here’s the second injury report leading up to Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
While the Patriots had perfect attendance for Thursday’s practice, the Steelers went without a handful on the active roster. That handful would include a resting Pro Bowl wide receiver, a trio of defensive starters, as well as an interior lineman in Scharping who will be landing on injured reserve after reportedly sustaining a torn ACL.
The Patriots opened the week with nine limited participants. Eight remained partial on Thursday. Count a reigning All-Pro cornerback among them. Gonzalez, who had been out since July due to a hamstring injury that stemmed from the first padded practice of training camp, has now been on hand for back-to-back practices. He led the defense in snaps played last campaign and is tracking toward his 2025 debut.
In Foxborough, the return of No. 99 coincided with the upgrading of No. 90. Barmore has spent time as a limited participant for non-injury reasons since the regular season began, but the practice plan had him back in full on Thursday. The starting defensive tackle stands with six tackles, including one for loss, plus one quarterback hit in the month of September.
