Pats Pulpit Pats Pulpit

As the New England Patriots returned to the practice fields, so did veteran starters on both sides of the ball.

Offensive tackle Morgan Moses and outside linebacker Harold Landry III made their way back as a limited participants during Thursday’s work on the Miami Dolphins. Foot ailments had kept the pair of March signings sidelined to begin the week.

But two others stayed sidelined.

Here’s the second injury report heading into Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium.

Patriots

  • DE Keion White (illness)

Dolphins

  • TE Darren Waller (hip)
  • OT Austin Jackson (toe)
  • DT Benito Jones (oblique)

  • CB Storm Duck (ankle)

Off the edges, White has now missed back-to-back practices because of an illness after rotating in for 29 defensive snaps in the season opener. As for Gonzalez in the secondary, he had been ruled out in the final injury report of last week. The 2024 second-team All-Pro has not practiced since sustaining a hamstring injury during the first padded session of training camp.

Moses started and stayed in for every offensive down at right tackle against the Las Vegas Raiders. Landry, meanwhile, notched 2.5 sacks in his debut as a captain in Foxborough. They would be among six limited participants there on Thursday. Barmore was also added to the team’s partial group for non-injury reasons. The defensive tackle registered a handful of tackles to start September.

Dolphins

After being downgraded from questionable on the eve of the opener, Woods has practiced in full for consecutive days. The August waiver claim from the Los Angeles Rams had been dealing with a groin injury and is expected to step into a core role on special teams.
