The first 12 practices of training camp are in the books, and it is finally time for the real thing: it’s game day. Obviously, tonight’s preseason opener between the New England Patriots and Washington Commanders will not count in the standings, and in fact, be a toned-down version of what is to come in the regular season. But, it is the next major step in the team’s preparation under first-year head coach Mike Vrabel.
