New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs was listed as questionable ahead of the Pats’ Week 7 battle with the Tennessee Titans as Diggs works through a chest injury. However, a new update late on Saturday night from ESPN’s Adam Schefter indicated that Diggs will, indeed, play against Tennessee.

Diggs has made a strong return to form in 2025 with the Patriots, showcasing his reliability as a target despite a lack of touchdowns. After recovering from a season-ending ACL injury in 2024 while with the Houston Texans, Diggs signed a three-year, $69 million contract with New England in March.

Through the first six weeks, Diggs has emerged as the team’s top receiver, leading in targets, receptions, and yards while adapting to rookie quarterback Drake Maye.

Diggs’ season began modestly in Week 1 against the Las Vegas Raiders, where he recorded six receptions for 57 yards in a 20-13 loss. The following week against the Miami Dolphins, he contributed four catches for 32 yards in a close 33-27 victory. Week 3 brought a quieter outing versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, with three receptions for 23 yards in a 21-14 defeat, as the Patriots’ offense struggled overall.

His performance picked up significantly in Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers, hauling in six passes for 101 yards, including a 33-yard catch-and-run that put New England in the red zone during a dominant 42-13 win.

Diggs followed that with his best game of the year in Week 5 at Buffalo, his former team, amassing 10 receptions for 146 yards in a 23-20 triumph. In Week 6 at New Orleans, he managed three catches for 28 yards in a 25-19 win, a dip after consecutive 100-yard efforts but still efficient on limited opportunities.

Overall, Diggs has compiled 32 receptions on 37 targets for 387 yards, averaging 12.1 yards per catch with a longest of 33 yards, though he remains without a touchdown.

As a locker room leader, Diggs has fired up the team on the sideline, contributing to the Patriots’ 4-2 record through Week 6. His consistent production bodes well for New England’s playoff aspirations.
