The New England Patriots might avoid facing one of the top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Tetairoa McMillan missed practice on Wednesday.
McMillan, the eighth overall pick in this past draft, was kept out of practice with a calf issue that popped up during his club’s drubbing of the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3. The Panthers were actually without their top three wide receivers — as McMillan was joined by Xavier Legette and Hunter Renfrow.
K’Lavon Chaisson and Jared Wilson were the only two absences at One Patriot Place, with the latter missing due to ankle and knee injuries that were suffered during a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3.
The Patriots received some pretty decent news regarding tight end Hunter Henry, who played the entire second half of that loss with a knee injury but participated in the entirety of practice.
