The New England Patriots had a busy offseason filled with numerous personnel changes.

Among the most notable additions were head coach Mike Vrabel and wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

With the likes of Cincinnati Bengals All-Pro defensive end Trey Hendrickson and Washington Commanders Pro Bowl wideout Terry McLaurin still embattled in contract disputes, could New England still have one more massive move to make?

Patriots executive Eliot Wolf addressed the topic ahead of Monday’s practice.

“Eliot Wolf: The #Patriots ‘absolutely’ are open to a big trade in the coming days and weeks,” Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald posted on Bluesky. “Trey Hendrickson and Terry McLaurin among players currently in contract disputes with their respective teams.”

McLaurin and the Patriots have been connected for weeks.

Hendrickson, meanwhile, is a newer name that has been added to trade rumors, ever since he began a training camp holdout in July.

Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported on the latest surrounding the four-time Pro Bowler on Monday.

“Teams that have recently inquired about Bengals star Trey Hendrickson were told Cincinnati’s asking price included a young defensive player and a 2026 first-round pick, according to league sources,” Russini posted on Bluesky. “The player heading back does not have to be a pass rusher.”

According to NBC Sports Boston’s Phil Perry, Wolf added that the team would be willing to trade away a first- or second-round pick, if it made sense.

Hendrickson is entering his ninth season in 2025 and finished last year with a league-leading 17.5 sacks. He earned his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl nod, was a first team All-Pro for the first time and was the AP Defensive Player of the Year runner-up as well.
