The New England Patriots will face the Houston Texans in the divisional round on Sunday, Jan. 18.

It’s expected to be a close one…

New England will host Houston in the after the former took care of business against the Los Angeles Chargers and the latter took care of business against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round — with the result being something to look forward to in the eyes of both DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook.

Betting Lines
DraftKings Sportsbook: Patriots -3 | O/U 41.5
FanDuel Sportsbook: Patriots -2.5 | O/U 40.5

The Patriots will have the benefit of playing at home, which might be the only thing swinging public perception in their favor. The Texans eventually ran away with things, but struggled to sustain momentum on the road at Acrisure Stadium — perhaps pointing toward the same thing coming to fruition at Gillette Stadium.

New England and Houston allowed nine total points across their playoff contests, which is perhaps why the total for their matchup (40.5) is lower than any of the other playoff contests at FanDuel.

The NFL announced the full divisional round schedule on Monday:

Saturday, Jan. 17 No. 6 Buffalo Bills @ No. 1 Denver Broncos (4:30 p.m. ET on CBS)
No. 6 San Francisco 49ers @ No. 1 Seattle Seahawks (8 p.m. ET on FOX)

Sunday, Jan. 18 No. 5 Houston Texans @ No. 2 New England Patriots (3 p.m. ET on ESPN) No. 5 Los Angeles Rams @ No. 2 Chicago Bears (6:30 p.m. ET on NBC)
