The NFL season is just under two weeks away for the New England Patriots, which will mark the start of the Mike Vrabel era. Win totals: 8.5. After two straight seasons with just four wins, offseason changes have left a more optimistic outlook for the Patriots this season. That shows as their win total rests around the eight-win mark, while those who believe even more wins are coming can explore odds all the way up to over 12.5 (+950).

Division winners: +500. New England’s +500 odds put them in sole possession of second place in the AFC East, behind just the Buffalo Bills (-260), who remain heavy favorites. The division is then rounded out by the Miami Dolphins (+700) and the New York Jets (+1,700).

Player milestones: The Patriots success this season will largely depend on the steps quarterback Drake Maye takes in his progression entering year two. Maye eclipsing the milestone of either 4,000-yards (+300) or 30+ touchdown passes (+470) would certainly signal a positive step in his development. However, it would be no surprise to see offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels rely on the ground game, which could set up rookie TreVeyon Henderson to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark (+420) in his first season.
