New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs seemed to have an… eventful… Memorial Day.

Diggs, who signed with the club back on March 28, spent part of the weekend on a boat with rumored girlfriend Cardi B — where viral videos began to circulate that showed the veteran wideout surrounded by women before pulling out a transparent bag with a pink substance inside.

It’s not not a troubling video from the standpoint of the organization.

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel was asked about the video before organized team activities on Wednesday.

“It’s something that we’re aware of,” Vrabel said, per team-provided video. “We want to make great decisions on and off the field… Any conversations that I’ve had with Stefon, were had between him and I. I talk to our players every day, the ones who are here and the ones who aren’t.”

Vrabel went on to confirm that Diggs was not present for the voluntary practice session, though he was present for at least one previous session.

New England has been home to plenty of off-field storylines over the years, particularly with recently added wide receivers (Randy Moss, Antonio Brown, Malcolm Floyd). It’s something the franchise will have to deal with yet again, though the current collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and NFLPA states that players are to be drug tested just once and that test typically happens the week they sign their contract… in case you were wondering.
