The New England Patriots can’t lose.

The Patriots won their 10th straight game on Monday, throttling the New York Giants 33-15 at Gillette Stadium. New England improved to 11-2, the best record in the NFL.

The Patriots haven’t lost since Sept. 21, then they fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers at home during Week 3. They’ve won all 10 of their games since then despite not having the benefit of a bye week, going undefeated in October and November.

By comparison, only one NFL team — the Denver Broncos — has won as many as 10 games all season.

New England has dominated on both sides of the ball, averaging 29.1 points per game on offense while allowing just 17.3 points per game on defense during its win streak.

The Patriots have been remarkably consistent, too, scoring at least 23 points and not allowing more than 23 points in every game of their streak. According to ESPN Insights, they’re the first team in NFL history to have a 10-game winning like that in a single season.

That speaks to the team’s balance, as New England has one of the best offenses and defenses in the league. It ranks in the top seven in points and yards per game on both sides of the ball.

The Patriots have also benefited from an easy schedule. Of the 10 teams they’ve faced during their win streak, only three currently have a winning record.

Regardless, it’s been an impressive turnaround for New England coming off back-to-back 13-loss seasons. The Patriots are the first team since the 1999 Indianapolis Colts to have a 10-game winning streak the year after losing at least 13 games.

After its bye this week, New England will look to stay hot and extend its winning streak in Week 15 against the Buffalo Bills at home. The Patriots already beat the Bills back in Week 5, and another win here would clinch the division.
