Mike Vrabel hasn’t had very much front-office stability over his first few months with the New England Patriots.

Eliot Wolf is still serving as executive vice president of player personnel, and Alonzo Highsmith is still a senior personnel executive. But things have been pretty fluid at the executive level after the implementation of John Streicher as vice president of football operations and strategy and Ryan Cowden as vice president of player personnel.

New England has two more fresh faces serving in directing roles as of Wednesday.

Tony Kinkela was promoted from national scout to director of college scouting, according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer. Kinkela replaces Cam Williams, who left a few weeks back to become co-director of player personnel for the Denver Broncos.

Kinkela was hired away three years ago from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with whom he worked for nearly a decade after helping direct the combine for the NFL.

The Patriots now have new directors on the college level (Kinkela) and professional level, with A.J. Highsmith being promoted last month.
