The New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins are both dinged up ahead of their matchup in Week 2.
Christian Gonzalez, Harold Landry III, Morgan Moses and Keion White were all absent from One Patriot Place on Wednesday, with the three latter players missing the first practice session of the week following Sunday’s loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Gonzalez continued his lengthy absence, and now enters his sixth consecutive week nursing the hamstring injury he suffered during training camp — which was addressed before the session by head coach Mike Vrabel.
“I don’t think we will see him today, but he’s continuing to improve — which is positive — and working hard, but I don’t think we will see him today on the practice field,” Vrabel said.
Storm Duck, Austin Jackson and Darren Waller were all absent in South Beach, leaving the plenty of question marks ahead of the divisional matchup. The Dolphins are expected to have a brand new right side of the offensive line, with Kion Smith and Larry Borom in line to start in place of James Daniels (injured reserve) and Austin Jackson (toe).
