The Baltimore Ravens don’t intend to lose Ronnie Stanley.

Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta met with reporters at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine on Tuesday and expressed optimism regarding Stanley, who would be the best offensive tackle in free agency.

“You never want to say 100%, but I feel good that we’ll have a good, healthy debate, a good process,” DeCosta told reporters, per the Ravens. “We’re going to meet with (Stanley’s agent Kim Miale) in Indy this week and I’m optimistic that we’ll be able to get a deal done.”

ESPN ranked Stanley as the third-best free agent this offseason. Stanley’s market value is projected at two years and $41.3 million, per Spotrac.

The Patriots have been floated as a viable landing spot for the 31-year-old given New England’s need and cap space. Baltimore has $12.8 million in cap space, per Over The Cap, which is why it’s been questioned if Stanley could go elsewhere to continue his career. He’s played all nine of his NFL seasons with the Ravens.

“I think that we’ll probably keep Ronnie,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told reporters in Indianapolis, per the team. “I’m hopeful that we will.”

The Patriots, on the other hand, will be hoping Stanley reaches the open market. If the 6-foot-6, 310-pound left tackle hits free agency and wants to cash in one one more big-money New England could make a very strong push for him. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel certainly sounded like someone who wouldn’t be scared to overpay this offseason.

DeCosta’s comments don’t serve as a welcomed development to those in Foxboro, Mass., however.
