New England Patriots - NESN.com
The New England Patriots have won seven in a row and are tied atop the NFL standings with the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts at 8-2.
Still, some oddsmakers aren’t completely sold on the Patriots as top Super Bowl contenders.
Despite quarterback Drake Maye continuing his bid for a stunning MVP win and head coach Mike Vrabel looking like a frontrunner for the Coach of the Year award, New England only has the 10th-best odds to win the championship, according to ESPN BET.
As of Monday afternoon, the Patriots were at +1600 odds to win Super Bowl LX.
They trail the Kansas City Chiefs (+500), Detroit Lions (+750), Philadelphia Eagles (+750), Los Angeles Rams (+800), Seattle Seahawks (+850), Buffalo Bills (+900), Colts (+1000), Green Bay Packers (+1000) and Baltimore Ravens (+1500).
New England also has only the 10th-shortest odds to win their respective conference title, coming in at +750.
The Patriots’ odds skyrocket to -225 when it comes to winning the AFC East and they’re at -5000 to make the playoffs.
New England hasn’t won a Super Bowl since 2019 and hasn’t made the playoffs since the 2021 campaign.
