The New England Patriots’ first week of training camp will come to an end on Saturday. For a fourth day in a row, the team will hit the fields behind Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots’ fourth training camp session will again take place on the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium. As are most other sessions, it is open to the general public at no cost.

The Patriots scaled the intensity all the way back on Friday, with Mike Vrabel having his players go through a walkthrough in just jerseys and shorts — no pads, no shells, not even helmets. With the first full-pads session set to come up on Monday, and an off day in between, the intensity of Saturday’s workout will be the story of the day. The first weekend practice of the summer could be an eventful and challenging one for the team.

The Patriots saw two players return to practice on Friday, with cornerback Carlton Davis and defensive tackle Jahvaree Ritzie back in action. Another change was the status of defensive tackle Christian Barmore, who was upgraded to a full participant after seeing limited reps on Thursday.
RB TreVeyon Henderson: The Patriots’ second-round draft pick ran with the top offense on Thursday before being moved to the second-string unit on Friday. There is no apparent cause for concern, but it will still be interesting to see how involved he will be as a receiver on Day 4 alongside top backs Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson.
WR Kyle Williams: Williams has been quiet since a nice camp debut on Wednesday. The third-round rookie primarily ran with the second-stringers in the two days since, and did not see a single target from starting QB Drake Maye. With the intensity and the number of downfield plays potentially increasing on Saturday, however, Williams might see more opportunities come his way again.
OL Jared Wilson: A third-round draft pick earlier this year, Wilson has been actively involved as the next man up across all three interior offensive line spots. Now, the question turns to whether or not we will start seeing him overtake one of the starters — either center Garrett Bradbury or left guard Cole Strange — or remain a versatile IOL4 for the time being.
